YUM!

Found a recipe on Pinterest for Artichoke bread....sssssooooo good!
Megan’s Killer Artichoke Bread
Recipe type: Appetizer
Author: Adapted from Megan’s Cookin’ Serves: 4-Think of this as Cheesy Garlic Bread meets Baked Artichoke Dip, only even better – it’s ooey, gooey and pretty much guaranteed to ruin your appetite for dinner (but it’s totally worth it).
Ingredients
 2 tbsp butter
 2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar and mozarella cheese blend
 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 1/4 cup sour cream
 1 large shallot, finely minced
 1 small loaf ciabatta bread
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1.Preheat broiler, and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2.In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, melt the butter until foamy. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat, and stir in artichoke hearts, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, sour cream and shallot until combined.
3.Slice the bread lengthwise. Place the bread halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up, and spoon the cooled cheese and artichoke mixture overtop. Broil until cheese is melted and bread is hot. Cut each half into six pieces and serve right away, while the cheese is still nice and melty.

I couldn't remember the cheeses when I was at the store, but remembered there was Mozzarella and Parmesan-bought Sargento's 6 cheese Italian mix. I eyeballed the sour cream amount and added about 1/8 cup of artichoke brine and added extra cheese in the mixture. Also, added couple dashes of oregano and basil on top of mixture and topped with some more cheese....it was fantastic! Reminds me of Old Chicago's Artichoke dip!

Another Ruffle

I ssssoooo love the colors in this Sashay brand skein. Color is called Shuffle and it's a blend of white, light brown and a maybe darker taupe brown color! Too bad the sun isn't coming through the window at this time of day, to bring out the colors better!

Granny Square Bear

So I'm making the granny square bear on Heidi Bears for a friend. It calls for "fingering weight" yarn... I got baby yarn. Not sure if that is the same thing? What's annoying me is that it uses tiny hooks. I have no problem using tiny hooks with crochet thread, but they keep snagging my yarn. Grrrr. I'm hoping I can make it through to finish this because it's so cute. Do you know if there is a brand of hooks that are designed to where they can hold the yarn and not snag it as you're pulling it through? I bought Boye hooks.

Another Sweater/Shrug

Made with Loops & Threads Charisma yarn in color Mountain Majesty. Totally love the colors on this one! 2 skeins in, was beginning to think "this is going to look like a horse blanket"....but once I finished it, not too bad!
